I've had this idea for awhile on creating a good internet-based Flash app to combine eye and face tracking with usability testing. I know all the technologies exist and are accessible, but I do need an ActionScript/Augmented Reality person who believes in the thing, so we can develop it together.
I'm envisioning a web-based remote testing environment for doing usability tests and stuff like that:
Webcam-based eye movement/heatmap interpreter, based on those crazy eye/face tracking libraries.
Record eye movements. Offer calibration feature for heatmap/gaze tracking.
Record facial expressions.
Output report with timeline that includes page changes, mouse movement, changes in expression, heatmap/gaze tracking, soundtrack, interpreted words said by the tester.
